Marlinda Gianfrate is involved in different projects concerning international tax issues.
With an economic background, she has dealt with international taxation with focus on transfer pricing, unilateral, bilateral and multilateral advance pricing arrangements (APAs), mutual agreement procedures (MAPs), as well as concerning procedures relating to the regime on income deriving from the use of certain intangible assets (patent box). She worked for 17 years for the Italian Tax Administration, most recently holding the position of Head of the Advance Agreements Office of the Revenue Agency. During her stay in the Agency, she was also assigned to represent Italy to Working Party No. 6, which deals with the taxation of multinational enterprises within the Committee on Fiscal Affairs of the OECD, contributing to the work related to the BEPS Project, to the update of the OECD Guidelines on Transfer Pricing, and relating to Pillars.
Speaker at conferences and seminars in Italy and abroad on the subject of transfer pricing, APAs and MAPs, she also collaborated as an expert in workshops organized by the OECD. Marlinda isauthor of several chapters in multi-authors publications in the field of international taxation .
She graduated with honors in Business and Economics from the University of Bari and obtained a full mark two-year post-graduate degree specializing on Constitutional law at the University of Bari in 2004.
